This healthier ranch dressing recipe has all the flavor and creaminess of classic ranch but uses a base of greek yogurt. It's easy to make in only 5 minutes: simply add everything to your blender and enjoy!
About The Dressing
This healthier ranch dressing is nearly identical to a traditional ranch recipe, except it swaps sour cream and buttermilk for greek yogurt. The result is an incredibly cream and protein-packed dressing that's full of herby delicious flavor.
It's also so easy. This ranch dressing uses all dried herbs and seasonings (instead of fresh) because they're more convenient and just as tasty in this recipe.
This recipe is also quick: you can make it in 5 minutes by tossing everything into your blender and enjoy it all week long!

Instructions
Step 1: Add Everything to Blender
Add all of the ingredients to a blender or food processor. Blend until smooth. Add more water until the dressing reaches your desired thickness.
Step 2: Enjoy!
Enjoy with your favorite salads or as a dip.
Step 3: Store in the Fridge
Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 1 week.
Ingredient Notes
Yogurt: use full-fat plain (unflavored) greek yogurt. Non-fat greek yogurt will also work but tastes less creamy and slightly more sour/tangy.
Herbs: this recipe uses dried parsley and dill because they're easier to keep on hand. If you'd like to use fresh herbs instead, use 1 tablespoon of each.
Make it spicy: add 1 - 2 chipotle peppers in adobo sauce to turn this into our Chipotle Ranch Dressing! Delicious as a dip or dressing when you're craving some spice.
What To Use This Dressing For
This dressing is delicious drizzled over any salad or as a dip for veggies. Use it in place of anything that you would use classic ranch dressing for!
One of the best things about this dressing is that it goes with almost any leafy green salad. Pair this dressing with your favorite salad to take it to the next level with flavor and creaminess.
If you need a salad recipe to try it with, this dressing is especially tasty on our BBQ Chicken Salad.
Homemade vs. Store-bought
One of the things that makes this recipe a 'healthier' ranch dressing is that most store-bought versions add ingredients like preservatives to keep them fresh or gums (like Xantham gum) to keep them thick. Store-bought ranch also tend to use cheaper or lower quality oils instead of olive oil.
Making a dressing at home means that you get to see every ingredient that goes and the result is naturally a 'cleaner' dressing made with fewer ingredients that are also higher quality.
PLUS you will taste the difference... This ranch dressing has a light and fresh flavor that you won't find in a bottle 🙂
How to Store This Dressing
Store any leftover dressing in a glass, airtight container in the fridge (like a jar).
This dressing will stay good for about 1 week, if stored properly.
