Hi there, I’m Megan! I’m the creator and recipe developer behind Her Wholesome Kitchen.
In 2020, I went on my own health journey after having some achy joints and pain and not knowing what caused it. I started to look at every part of my lifestyle to try to find an explanation: from what I was eating, to how I was moving my body and how I spent my time.
This exploration led me to The Institute of Integrative Nutrition, where I graduated as a holistic health coach in 2021. My training with IIN taught me about nutrition and the role that food can play in our overall health.
I started Her Wholesome Kitchen as a way to share what I was learning about food. As I explored my own health, I was finding recipes and cooking methods that helped me feel healthier and more balanced. And I wanted a simple way for others to experience this too.
It’s also important that the recipes here are easy and simple. I’m a mom of a toddler and rarely have more than 30 minutes after work to devote to cooking, so I focus on creating dinner recipes that are quick to get on the table.
It’s my goal to be a part of your dinner time routine and show that eating healthy and plant based does not have to be complicated.
