- 1 cup raw cashews
- 3 tablespoons nutritional yeast
- 1 tablespoon hot sauce
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon chili powder
Instructions
- Blend: add all of the ingredients along with ¾ cup hot water to a blender or food processor. Blend until smooth. If needed, add additional water 1 tablespoon at a time until queso reaches desired consistency.
- Taste test: taste and adjust flavors if desired. For example, add more hot sauce for a spicier queso.
- Serve: serve as a dip for chips or use as a topping. Optionally, garnish with chopped cilantro.
