Description
This healthy chipotle ranch dressing is easy to make in only 5 minutes in the blender. It's made with a base of greek yogurt, dried herbs, and spicy chipotle peppers.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 - 2 chipotle peppers in adobo sauce (without their sauce)*
- 1 cup plain greek yogurt
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon dried dill
- 1 teaspoon dried parsley
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- ⅛ teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Add all of the ingredients to a blender or food processor. Blend until smooth. For a milder sauce, start by adding ½ of a chipotle pepper. Taste and add more until you reach your desired spice level. Add water if you need to thin the dressing.
- Enjoy with your favorite salads as a dressing or use as a dip.
- Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 1 week.
Notes
*A note on spice: add 1 adobo pepper (or half) to give this recipe a milder spice level. Also add the pepper without additional sauce from the can to cut down on spice. Adding 1 pepper makes this dressing spicy; adding 2 makes it hot. You can start by adding half of a pepper and then add more until you get to your desired spice level.
