Description

These 5-ingredient honey balsamic brussels sprouts are roasted until crispy and then tossed with a simple mix of honey and balsamic vinegar. This recipe is an easy way to step up a classic brussels sprouts side dish for dinner or the holidays.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 ½ lbs brussels sprouts, halved and trimmed
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon honey

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven: preheat the oven to 425°F. Line a medium baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Prepare the brussels sprouts: add the brussels sprouts to the baking sheet. Toss them with the olive oil, salt and pepper.
  3. Bake: arrange the brussels sprouts in a single layer and bake for 20-25 minutes, until they are brown and crispy in places. Flip after 15 minutes. Cook them for longer if you prefer a crispier texture.
  4. Mix balsamic and honey: while the brussels sprouts bake, mix together the balsamic vinegar and honey in a medium bowl. As soon as the brussels sprouts are cooked, toss them in this mixture.
  5. Serve: serve immediately while warm.
