Description
These easy garlic butter mushrooms are made with the most heavenly garlic herb sauce! They're a tasty way to cook mushrooms that's always a crowd-pleasing side dish.

- 1 pound mushrooms (baby bella, cremini or button)
- 3 teaspoons minced garlic ((about 3 - 4 cloves))
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon pepper
- ½ teaspoon dried thyme
Instructions
- Clean the mushrooms by gently rinsing them with water and then dabbing them dry with a paper towel or kitchen towel. Let the mushrooms dry completely before cooking.
- In a medium skillet over medium-high heat, add the butter. Once the butter begins to melt, add the garlic and stir.
- Once the butter is completely melted, add the mushrooms, salt, pepper and thyme. Cook over medium heat, stirring frequently, for 10 - 12 minutes, until the mushrooms are tender.
- Serve immediately, optionally sprinkled with fresh parsley.
Notes
To make it dairy free: substitute ghee for butter.
