  • Yield: 4 servings 1x

Description

These easy garlic butter mushrooms are made with the most heavenly garlic herb sauce! They're a tasty way to cook mushrooms that's always a crowd-pleasing side dish.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound mushrooms (baby bella, cremini or button)
  • 3 teaspoons minced garlic ((about 3 - 4 cloves))
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon pepper
  • ½ teaspoon dried thyme

Instructions

  1. Clean the mushrooms by gently rinsing them with water and then dabbing them dry with a paper towel or kitchen towel. Let the mushrooms dry completely before cooking.
  2. In a medium skillet over medium-high heat, add the butter. Once the butter begins to melt, add the garlic and stir.
  3. Once the butter is completely melted, add the mushrooms, salt, pepper and thyme. Cook over medium heat, stirring frequently, for 10 - 12 minutes, until the mushrooms are tender.
  4. Serve immediately, optionally sprinkled with fresh parsley.

Notes

To make it dairy free: substitute ghee for butter.
