Easy Garden Salad Recipe

This easy garden salad recipe is made with a delicious, seasonal mix of fresh vegetables and a simple, 4-ingredient white wine vinaigrette.


  • 6 cups chopped lettuce (use romaine lettuce or a mix of romaine and red leaf lettuce)
  • 4 radishes, sliced
  • 1 yellow bell pepper, diced
  • 1 cup halved grape tomatoes
  • 1 cup sliced mini cucumbers
  • 1 cup sliced carrots
  • ⅓ cup thinly sliced red onion
  • 2 tablespoons chopped flat-leaf parsley, optional for garnish
  • 1 cup croutons, optional

For the White Wine Vinaigrette:

  • ⅓ cup olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon white wine vinegar*
  • 1 tablespoon fresh-squeezed lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon dijon mustard
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon freshly-ground black pepper
  • 2 teaspoons honey, optional


  1. In a small jar or bowl, whisk together the dressing ingredients until emulsified (fully combined and slightly thickened).
  2. Add all of the salad ingredients to a large bowl, toss with the dressing and enjoy! Optionally, top with chopped parsley, croutons, and freshly ground black pepper.


*You can substitute apple cider vinegar or red wine vinegar if preferred. Each option will change the flavor of the dressing.
