Chocolate Hummus

Ready in only 5 minutes, this chocolate hummus will quickly become a favorite go-to snack for dipping fruit, crackers, or pretzels! This recipe is a twist on traditional hummus with added bold and sweet chocolate flavor.

Ingredients

  • 1 15 ounce can chickpeas
  • ½ cup unsweetened Dutch cocoa powder
  • ¼ cup pure maple syrup
  • 2 tablespoons drippy tahini
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • ½ teaspoons salt
  • 1 - 3 tablespoons water

Instructions

  • Add all ingredients except for water to a food processor or blender. Blend until smooth.
  • Add water and blend again, adding more water until the desired consistency is reached. You may need to pause the blender to scrape the sides and ensure that the hummus is blending consistently. 
  • Serve immediately with your favorite items for dipping: strawberries, apples, pretzels, crackers, etc.
