Servings: 4 burgers
- 1 pound lean ground turkey
- ½ cup panko breadcrumbs or plain breadcrumbs
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon onion powder
- 2 teaspoons worcestershire sauce
- 1 egg
- 3 tablespoons olive oil divided
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper
Add all of the ingredients except for 2 tablespoons of olive oil to a large bowl. Use your hands to mix all of the ingredients until combined.
Divide the turkey into 4 equal portions and press into patties that are about ½” thick.
In a large skillet over medium heat, add 1 tablespoon of olive oil. Once the oil is hot, add 2 of the patties side by side (or cook 1 patty at a time if your pan is smaller).
Cook the patties for 4 - 5 minutes on each side, until they are cooked through (to at least 165 °F) and browned.
Repeat with the remaining patties, adding 1 tablespoon more of oil to the pan before cooking.
Serve warm on a bun with all of your favorite burger fixings.
