2 cups white onion 1 cup carrots sliced 1 cup celery sliced 2 cloves garlic 1 tsp dried thyme 1 tsp ground cumin 1 tsp paprika 1 tsp lemon zest 6 cups chicken broth 1 (14 oz) can crushed tomato 2 cups lentils 16 oz of cubed ham
Cook the onion, carrots, and celery until tender.
Add seasonings and stir to mix.
Add broth, tomatoes, lentils & ham.
Stir well & simmer for 1 hour.
